Recap Makina doubled its production capacity

Recap Makina Doubles Production Capacity with New Factory Investment
(December 17, 2025)

Recap Makina has doubled its production capacity with a new factory investment. The company has recently focused its R&D efforts on technologies aimed at recovering waste heat.

Founded in Eskişehir in 2017 by three young engineers, Recap Makina manufactures autoclaves used primarily in composites, as well as in glass, rubber, sterilization, and tire coating applications.

Stating that they design and manufacture autoclaves operating at pressures ranging from 4 bar up to 70 bar, Recap Makina General Manager Metin İleri said that safety, energy management, and design precision in high-pressure autoclaves form the core of their business culture.

Emphasizing the critical importance of autoclave design within the pressure vessel category, İleri said:
“We leave nothing to chance in the process extending from design to the end-user site. We structure our production line in a way that ensures both the proper processing of materials and safety simultaneously. We analyze each component individually, plan all processes in advance, and subject the final product to multi-layered testing.”

Pointing out the weight of energy costs in manufacturing, İleri underlined that the main factor shaping their R&D direction is waste heat recovery. Commenting on their energy-focused projects, he continued:
“Regardless of whether it is electricity, steam, or thermal oil, every heat source used in production represents a significant cost. The heat released into the atmosphere at the end of the process is actually lost value for businesses. Therefore, we have recently concentrated our R&D efforts on storing waste heat, making it reusable, or intelligently transferring it to other systems. This approach will both reduce costs and offer solutions that minimize environmental impact.”

Production Capacity Doubled with the New Factory

Stating that 2025 has been a challenging year due to global uncertainty but that they did not abandon their investment plans, İleri noted that they have completed their new factory investment in the İmişehir Organized Industrial Zone, which doubled their production area.
“Political and economic balances around the world in 2025 put pressure on investment appetite and production costs. Despite this, as Recap Makina, we did not postpone our growth strategy. With our new factory investment, we increased our production capacity and strengthened our energy infrastructure. In 2026, our machinery and equipment investments will continue. These investments will further enhance both our production efficiency and delivery capability,” he said.

Europe and the Global South at the Center of the Growth Strategy

Noting that Europe remains the primary target market on the export side, Metin İleri said that the region’s perception of quality offers a strategic opportunity for the company. He also stated that increasing investments under the European Union’s SAFE defense and security mechanism are expected to raise demand for autoclaves, and emphasized that investments in defense, automotive, and glass industries are accelerating in Global South countries.

Explaining that they plan to base their sales strategy on “Technology Integration Partnership” as of the new year, İleri said:
“A technology integration partnership refers to a structure where not only sales, but also hardware, software, spare parts, and technical service are provided locally under one roof. With this model, we eliminate waiting times for our customers and manage all post-purchase processes smoothly. We have achieved very successful results with this model, which we have been implementing in the UK for two years, and we are now expanding it to wider geographies. In 2026, we will activate two new technology integration partnerships in France and Taiwan.”

Sustainability Becomes a Core Component of Production

Emphasizing that they have adopted an approach aimed at minimizing energy consumption in production planning, İleri stated that thanks to processes designed with millimetric tolerances, metal scrap is reduced and energy and cooling fluids are consumed in a controlled manner. Assessing their sustainability vision, he said:
“Energy efficiency analyses, waste reduction strategies, and eco-design principles are integral parts of our production philosophy. Protecting nature is as important as our growth targets. By updating our sustainability roadmap every year, we have established a structure where we can measure its impact in concrete terms.”

“Design and Innovation Will Be the Key to Differentiation”

Defining competition in the sector as “a challenging but encouraging reality for innovation,” Metin İleri said they will continue to differentiate through original designs that reflect their character and local integration partnerships.
“Despite the fact that Recap Makina is a young company institutionally, its founding partners have more than 15 years of experience. Nevertheless, in eight years we have reached a significant position both locally and globally. Our goal is to increase brand awareness by entering new markets and to solidify our place among the preferred manufacturers in autoclave technologies,” he concluded.
